Sunil is passionate about Design and Style. Living in New York City and being an integral part of the Fashion industry for many years, has given him a truly unique perspective on all things fabulous.

A graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology, Sunil started his design career at Anne Klein where he worked with several prominent design directors on Casual Sportswear, Denim and Collection. Sunil created Anne Klein woman, the first full figure offering from a designer brand. The line was a smash success and had Oprah and Rosie O’Donnell among its many fans

As Design Director of Curvation Queen Latifah, Sunil was at the forefront of a groundbreaking lifestyle brand expansion within the VF Corp. His designs won acclaim from both retailers and press alike and were featured in print, on television, in the movies – as well as on the red carpet. At VF, Sunil’s unique expertise was often availed upon by several associate brands to design and merchandise multiple women’s brands.

Jockey P2P later embraced Sunil’s creative vision when he joined the brand as senior designer. He travelled extensively for Jockey, sharing his vision and expertise on “How women should dress” throughout North America. Sunil designed and implemented numerous brand inspired events and fashion shows while using social media to inspire women to be their best. He now serves as a creative design consultant for several aspirational fashion brands that are currently in development.

Sunil loves to share his love of design and style – he makes guest lectures at Parsons School of Design. He is sought out as a TV fashion expert, as a featured fashion contributor to several publications, and has responded to frequent calls for his expertise by creating and now hosting #sunilstyles, an educational fashion blog at sunilr.com. Sunil loves to travel extensively to new destinations that inspire and energize him. He is a big fan of both art and pop culture.
